At our buffet, you may have a tasting taste of all of our products with no charge, which are also available for you to take back home.
Lazaris Distillery & Artisan Sweets has been operating in Corfu since 2005 by Constantinos Lazaris. Inspired by history, tradition, flavours and aromas of Corfu, Mr. Lazaris and his team continue the gastronomic tradition of the island passionately. Following the local recipe, we produce the famous drink of Corfu, kumquat liqueur, which is certified with Protected Geographical Indication and the famous Italian liqueur, which is absolutely interwoven with the gastronomic tradition of Corfu. In the facilities of our distillery is produced and bottled exclusively in Corfu, our Ouzo. The process of production is traditionally done by double distillation in bronze alembic.
Simultaneously, reviving flavours and aromas of the past, we make handmade, delightful Corfiot sweets.
Mandolato (Nougat), Mandola (caramelized almonds), spoon sweet kum quat and sykomaida (fig pie) according the traditional Ionian recipes as loukoums (Greek delights).
Past meets future in state-of-the-art and visitable facilities. From the first moment the aromas will overwhelm you. The tour starts from the sweets’ workshop and while watching the production process, you have a look back to the culinary history of Corfu. In the distillery with the strong aroma of alcohol, you will watch the production and bottling processes, while the bronze alembic of ouzo distillation dominating the place.

At the wine tasting guests experiencing the local white, rosé and red wines and learning the local varieties. Accompanied by finger food (Corfiot fig pies – called “Sykomaida” of our production together with Corfiot cold cut “Noumboulo”, kumquat glaze of our production together with Greek cheese and bread sticks). During the event, visitors have the opportunity to watch the process of our products on sweets’ workshop. In addition, visitors may try our liqueurs (kumquat liqueur, kumquat liqueur cream, limoncello liqueur, limoncello cream liqueur) our ouzo and other drinks, as well as kumquat jam and spoon sweet, mandolatos (nougats), mandolas (caramelized almonds), loukoumia (greek delights) etc. They can also buy if they want the products they try, and also olive oil, olives, honey, spices, soaps of Corfiot producers. And all this in a stylish setting under the sounds of jazz music, in our modern facilities. The price for wine tasting is 8 euros per person including VAT.
